Hello! My name is Valerie, the founder of SSH Canine Academy. I've been working with dogs since 2018 and have devoted my life to helping pet parents live wonderful lives with their dogs!

I was told in my early 20s that the dog industry is in need of people that truly cared about dogs. Having experienced the harsh reality that not everyone working with dogs really cares for them, I decided that I wanted to make a change.

My goal is to educate pet parents about the different options with training and that not one size fits all. What works for one dog may not work for another! I want to empower dog owners to train their dogs to their full potential and live the life they always wanted with their four-legged companions. ​
